Brian Carlin

Owner / Operator

The son of a builder/developer, he started working for his father’s company after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999. Brian stays actively engaged in building education, learning from the leading engineers and professionals in the field. He has a passion for working with people helping them bring their vision to life. However, building is his second love, his first: his wife and daughters.

Collin Hepler

Estimator/Customer Care

Collin is responsible for creating site work budgets, updating vendor pricing and handles all warranty/customer service tickets. Hailing from Fort Collins, Colorado, he has fully embraced Texas, complete with a truck and full appreciation of the 2nd amendment. He is the front line for our high standards, and maintains a steady-as-she goes perseverance. He loves a challenge, and enjoys being onsite, collaborating. When Collin is away from work he likes spending quality time with his wife, raising his son and attending sporting events.

Traci McComas

Bookkeeper / Admin Specialist

Traci maintains our information systems and handles all reporting, payables and receivables. She is a rare combination of detailed and warm and friendly, and our customers always appreciate her professionalism and high level of service. She believes Hedgefield Homes is a wonderful place to be a part of and loves being on a team that consists of an amazing amount of knowledge, experience, passion, but most of all, caring people. Most of her spare time is spent on her farm with her husband, dog, kids and grandkids. Traci loves her family time, especially during the holidays.

Sara Balough

Design Coordinator

Sara helps our customers realize their design visions for their homes. Her deep design experience comes out of her love for helping customers craft beautiful spaces that fit their needs and desires. Customers appreciate her creativity, thoughtfulness and clear communication style. She loves working with customers as they navigate the creation of their home. Selecting cohesive finishes and elements that will lay the foundation of what home means to their family is truly special to her. For fun Sara likes to read, travel and spend time with her family.

Matthew Moreland

New Home Specialist

Matthew walks with our customers through the entire building process, from raw dirt to handing over the keys. He loves helping people achieve their goals, and thrives on really finding that perfect fit and making the process smooth and easy to understand. Matthew has worked in the new home industry for the past 9 years, and before that he played college football at OU under Bob Stoops...so he understands teamwork and high standards. If he is not at work you can find him spending quality time with his wife, playing golf, or eating sushi.

Jennifer Porter

Marketing Coordinator

Jennifer is responsible for overseeing Hedgefield's content creation, managing various social media platforms, updating the website, coordinating events and more. Over her two years at Hedgefield, she has witnessed significant growth and improvement within the company, resulting in a more seamless and enjoyable experience for homeowners. Being part of a remarkable team that genuinely prioritizes its customers fills her with immense pride. In her free time Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and three kids, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories.

Katherine Davidson

Starts Coordinator

Katherine coordinates all of the project documentation required to build customers' homes, including plans, specifications, engineering, permits and site work budgets. Customers appreciate her ongoing support and quick response time as she guides them through the pre-construction process. Her favorite thing about working at Hedgefield Homes is that the team is upfront and honest with each other and with our customers. When Katherine is not working she enjoys riding horses, hiking and camping.

Mike Grigsby

Builder

Mike is the builder in charge of construction in the southern part of our territory. He is responsible for on-site construction and vendor management, while keeping homeowners up-to-date throughout the construction process. Bringing over 20 years of construction experience with him to Hedgefield, he enjoys interacting with customers and building the home of their dreams. In his free time he loves spending time with his wife of 18 years and their 3 wonderful kids.

Ryan Shierry

Builder

Ryan is in charge of the builds in our northern territory. He oversees construction and scheduling and keeps homeowners informed throughout the construction process. With 19 years in the construction industry, he is a great asset to the team. His favorite thing about being a part of the Hedgefield Team is working with customers and sharing in the experience of making their dream come true. In his free time he enjoys the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and spending time at the lake.

Celeste McFarland

Builder / Quality Assurance Manager

Celeste is the builder in charge of construction in the western region of our territory. In addition to her role as a builder, she takes charge of our Quality Assurance program, ensuring that every home is meticulously crafted to meet our exceptional standards. With four years of experience in the construction industry, she has proven to be an invaluable asset to our team. Her favorite part of working at Hedgefield Homes is interacting with customers while building their dream home. In her free time she loves spending quality time with her husband and two children while exploring the DFW area.

Daniel Ehardt

Quality Assurance Specialist

Daniel prioritizes quality and attention to detail, ensuring that all our homes are built to our high standards across the board. With over three years in the construction industry, his favorite aspect of working at Hedgefield is the family environment and the team's eagerness to continue learning and growing. In his free time you can find him on the golf course, at a Texas Rangers game or watching OU Football. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
